Dallas McMillan completed his degree in Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney in 2000 then started working for Cairns Vet Clinic immediately after this.
Dallas was attracted to Cairns by the relaxed tropical lifestyle, friendly people, and great opportunities to work on interesting medical cases in a major regional veterinary practice.
Dallas is interested in client education and communication, veterinary internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.
I love being a vet because every day is different – it is as much about people and problem solving as it is about pets. It is essential to always be learning and working to better care for people’s pets and family’s health and wellbeing.
Dallas is particularly interested in ear and skin disease, tick paralysis and surgery. He loves Cairns Vet Clinic’s new ultrasound machine.
